F&BKP Newsletter October 2019 (#04)

In this October Newsletter the Food & Business Knowledge Platform informs about the launch of the Netherlands Food Partnership (NFP) on World Food Day 2019. Furthermore, the kick-off of the FNS Excellence Programme is highlighted and a new study on Circular Agriculture in LMICs. 

The mission of the NFP: “Boost transformative approaches for sustainable food systems and healthy diets”. The NFP facilitates parties who recognize the need to speed up Dutch Diamond approaches to achieve SDG2, and are eager to act together. The current Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP) and AgriProFocus merge into the NFP working organization, which will build on the knowledge and experience of both organizations and will implement the required changes to realize the ambitions of the NFP. While the NFP is taking shape, the F&BKP continues its activities, anticipating the NFP.
