Vacancies at Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation
Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation (WCDI) stands for ‘Knowledge in Action’ and supports organizations and people to strengthen their capacity for sustainable development. WCDI is currently looking for a Livestock Value Chains Advisor and for a Food and Nutrition Security Advisor.
Both vacancies are for positions based in Wageningen, the Netherlands. For both positions WCDI is offering an initial one year contract of 36 hours per week with a performance based possibility for extension. Livestock Value Chains Advisor
WCDI is looking for a Livestock Value Chains Advisor with solid understanding of livestock sector transformation in low- and middle-income countries and the concept of inclusive and sustainable food systems.

WCDI intend to have two interview rounds in early and end September. The final round will include three candidates who will be asked to prepare a short assignment.
Food and Nutrition Security Advisor
WCDI is looking for a Food and Nutrition Security Advisor, to contribute to projects and capacity building of other professionals across the world in support of improved global food and nutrition security. In addition to project implementation, the Food and Nutrition Security Advisor will contribute to the implementation of capacity development programmes in Food and Nutrition Security, including international mid-career professional courses. Assignments abroad involve travelling to Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and, to a lesser extent, Latin America.
