The Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP), together with NWO-WOTRO, has published a special edition of the F&BKP newsletter, dedicated to the research projects funded within the first call of the Applied Research Fund (ARF-1).

The projects funded by the ARF tackle challenges related to Food and Nutrition Security and private sector development in the 15 partner countries of Dutch development cooperation. They all stem from the knowledge and innovation needs of farmers, practitioners and policymakers. The research-driven innovations support new tools and technologies for Food and Nutrition Security that should ultimately benefit the world’s most vulnerable people.

The newsletter features the ARF Brochure in which the programme is presented, ARF factsheets from eight ARF-1 projects and one finalized ARF-2 project, and other outputs from the research projects. On the F&BKP website, all 45 ARF projects from the three calls have their own project pages. In addition, the GCP & ARF Projects Locator clearly shows in which countries the research projects are taking place.

Please follow this link to the complete ARF-1 progress newsletter and enjoy the read. Feel free to share questions and suggestions with the F&BKP via , Twitter or Facebook or with the projects directly.
