In the November newsletter of the Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP) readers are invited to register for the conference “Research & Policy: two peas in a pod? A dialogue for food security impact” and to vote for one of the three finalists of the Agrofood Broker of the Year 2017 Award. Furthermore, readers are asked to complete the evaluation survey of the Knowledge Portal, and the newsletter informs about eight new GCP projects, and refers to reports, workshops, reports and events related to Food and Nutrition Security (FNS).

The registration is now open for the conference Research & Policy: two peas in a pod? A dialogue for food security impact on December 1, 2017 in The Hague. The conference primarily focuses on a dialogue between policymakers and projects from the Global Challenges Programme and Applied Research Fund. However, the Platform and NWO-WOTRO would also highly appreciate insights from the private sector and civil society on the different thematic areas. Please follow this link to register online.

Furthermore, Food and Nutrition Security professionals can still complete the evaluation survey about the Knowledge Portal. This online tool provides Food and Nutrition Security professionals with selected references to cutting-edge knowledge and innovations in their field. The Platform would like to receive as many opinions as possible, to be able to adjust the Portal to better meet the users’ needs.

To continuously inform interested professionals on what is happening within the Platform, the F&BKP social media channels Twitter and Facebook are daily updated.

Please follow this link to the complete sixth 2017 newsletter of the Platform; enjoy the read!
