RINEA mobility grants scheme
The Research and Innovation Network for Europe and Africa (RINEA) is a project funded under Horizon 2020. Recently a mobility grant scheme has been launched designed to facilitate the participation of African researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and other relevant stakeholders in networking and brokerage events organized in the context of RINEA and beyond.

Aim of the Research and Innovation Network for Europe and Africa (RINEA) is to enhance Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) cooperation between EU and African countries through supporting bi-regional policy dialogue and strengthening of synergies between research and business communities from the two regions.

Mobility grant scheme
In the context of RINEA, a mobility scheme has been launched, addressed to representatives from innovative SMEs, Universities, and other research organizations based in African countries and active in the field of Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture (FNSSA). The mobility grant scheme will financially support the participation of selected applicants in one of the following brokerage events:
- Innovat&Match 2016, 9-10 June 2016, Bologna, Italy
- IFAMA Matchmaking 2016, 21-22 June 2016, Aarhus, Denmark
- Network and Consortium Building at CIGR-AgEng 2016, 28-29 June 2016, Aarhus, Denmark
The events are being organized in the framework of Enterprise Europe Network and they promote business, technological and research partnerships. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to explore possible synergies and build new partnerships with their European counterparts following a programme of pre-arranged meetings.
