The Steering Committee of the Netherlands Food Partnership (NFP) and the Board of AgriProFocus announce that Mrs. Myrtille Danse has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Netherlands Food Partnership starting September 1, 2020. Myrtille: “I believe that NFP will play a catalytic role in accelerating the Dutch contribution to SDG2. I am looking forward to being part of it together with all corners of the Dutch Diamond.” »

Without fast and informed action, the COVID-19 crisis risks becoming a global food crisis. Young Expert Programmes (YEP) is looking for Dutch candidates for three new positions. Main goal of YEP, consisting of Agrofood, Water and Renewable Energy, is to offer young professionals the opportunity to kickstart their international career supported by training and coaching. Two vacancies are in the Agrofood sector, in South Africa and Kenya, and open for Dutch nationals only. Application for this YEP batch 21 is open until June 12, 2020. »

SeedNL is looking for a coordinator to realize the ambitions of the partnership. SeedNL focuses on how the seed sector in developing countries can be strengthened, and where the sector can potentially expand to emerging economies, improving the productivity of farmers.
