Knowledge Sharing Seminar in Comilla

On May 4, 2016 a Knowledge Sharing Seminar was held in Comilla City on the theme of “Assessment of rodenticide use and rodenticide resistance in Bangladesh in order to reduce post-harvest losses”. The seminar was organized with the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), Department of Food, Rice Mill Owners, Media, SMEs and NGOs.

Chief Guest of the Knowledge Sharing Seminar was the Deputy Commissioner of Comilla (the supreme authority of Comilla from Government part); Special Guest was Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension , Comilla; and the seminar was presided by the Additional Director of Agriculture Extension, Comilla Region. In total around 80 people attended the event and were highly interested in this new subject. The event was covered by various local news papers.
