This year the F&BKP will for the first time award the Agrofood Broker of the Year Award to a professional in the field of Food and Nutrition Security, who has undertaken significant brokering activities in 2016/2017. On September 29, a group of committed professionals were engaged in a dialogue about how the SES4Food initiative could be organized and should cooperate with other entrepreneurial and food security programmes. During the third annual gathering of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (MUFPP), the Global Database for City and Regional Food Policies was officially launched. The online database is a valuable resource for local and sub-national governments to learn about food system policies around the globe. »
