Global Food Policy Report 2014-2015
The Global Food Policy Report (PDF) by IFPRI provides an in-depth look at major food policy developments and events. This annual report offers an overview of the policy developments that have contributed to or hindered progress in food and nutrition security. It reviews what happened in food policy and why, examines key challenges and opportunities, shares new evidence and knowledge, and highlights emerging issues. Furthermore, data for several key food policy indicators, including country-level data on hunger, agricultural research spending, and capacity for food policy research is presented. The 2014–2015 report calls on governments of middle income countries to reshape their food systems to focus on nutrition and health, close the gender gap in agriculture, and improve rural infrastructure to ensure food security for all.
