Breakout session 4 of IOB public dialogue Dutch food security policy on May 31, 2018. Dutch food security policy should seek solutions for long-term challenges to sustainability. A holistic, locally embedded and inclusive approach, aiming for improved resilience of both food production systems and their ecosystems. »

This two-pager aims to summarize a state of the current art on the knowledge in this field. It builds on the knowledge gathered in the F&BKP Knowledge Portal on youth. It covers heterogeneity of youth, potential of mainstreaming and youth-specific interventions as well as comprehensive policies amongst others. It focuses specifically on youth employment and job creation, as it served as a background document to the workshop “youth agripreneurship in agricultural transformation” on June 1, 2018 »

In the June newsletter the Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP) presents reports on several workshops and draws attention to the F&BKP highlights of 2017, including important achievements in all main activities: Strategic partnerships, Research & innovation, and Knowledge Portal. »

The Borderless Network initiative developed a common ambition and agenda for the internationalization of green education. HAS University of Applied Sciences – on behalf of the Borderless Network, and financed by the F&BKP – executed a learning trajectory. The study focused on different partnership modalities between green education institutes and other actors. The analysis was discussed in several meetings which resulted in recommendations for the Borderless Network and its members.  »
