The strategic partnership between the CGIAR and the Netherlands is taking shape. On June 2, 2016 a stock meeting was organized to discuss the progress with the development of the NL-CGIAR Portfolio. Participants from knowledge institutions, government, private sector, civil society and CGIAR CRPs were present at the meeting to discuss the progress. »

On Wednesday June 29, Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation is organizing a seminar on “Landscape approach to Governance, Planning and Finance”, in the context of LPFN’s visit to the Netherlands. »

There are six new Young Expert Programmes (YEP) positions available, of which five in YEP Agrofood. Main goal of the YEP Programmes, is to offer young Dutch and local professionals the opportunity to take their first steps in an international environment. The programmes aim to rejuvenate the Agrofood and Water sectors and ensure the continued availability of expertise for these sectors. »

On June 9, the Dutch Ministry of FA hosted a presentation about the scoping study, “Flowers for Food?” conducted by LANDac)/IDS Utrecht University and the Platform. Around 30 participants attended the presentation, mostly representatives from different government agencies, and a number of experts from academia, NGOs and certification bodies. »
