Achieving ecologically sustainable food systems is one of the three dimensions and policy objectives of the Dutch Food Security policy. The focus is on the sustainable management of international public (environmental) goods like water, soil, energy and biodiversity, while considering the effects of climate change on food systems and vice-versa. Within this topic, information is provided on theory and practice to stimulate more robust and sustainable agricultural and food systems. There is a particular interest in identifying development opportunities, lessons learned and linkages to food and nutrition security.
