The Utrecht Center for Entrepreneurship (Utrecht CE) and Droomzaken have created Pop-up Fridays, a series of open office spaces. The first Pop-up Friday will be held on February 27, 2015, and is organized together with the Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP) around the following theme:

How can the power of innovation and the entrepreneurship of social enterprises be used optimally to realize food security in emerging economies and developing countries.

Utrecht CE, Droomzaken and F&BKP invite social entrepreneurs, impact investors, policy makers, scientists, NGO professionals and students, who are, or would like to be, involved in the area of food security. The aim of this first Pop-up Friday is to create a joint coherent knowledge agenda.

Time: 10:00 – 17:00

In the morning there is room for casual encounters, unexpected conversations, and time to finish the week’s to-do list, meet the last deadline of the week or make some urgent calls. Just like in the office, but surrounded by different people, backgrounds and insights. Good coffee and fast Wi-Fi will of course be available!

At 13:00 it is time for a joint lunch, which marks the start of the theme-based program around social entrepreneurs and food security. At 17:00 the day is closed with informal drinks.
