As sustainable sourcing becomes the norm, the next frontier lies in achieving living wage and living income. Seven international organizations work to advance this movement, and organize the “The Only Way is Up!” Conference to collaborate on the challenges and opportunities ahead with actors from across the agrofood sector .
The Only Way is Up! Conference is convened by Hivos, Fairfood, Fairtrade, IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative, Rainforest Alliance, the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and takes place in Rotterdam on November 5 and 6, 2019.
Over the course of this two-day conference, participants will find inspiration in successful initiatives, learn from best practices, and identify how to overcome bottlenecks and hurdles. Workshops and discussions will help attendees develop collaborations and find solutions.
