From November 22-27, NABC will organize a trade mission to Rwanda for the Dutch private sector active in livestock & horticulture. With a GDP growth of more than 7%, a stable government and fast economic growth, the Rwandan market is full of opportunities.

8 AgriProFocus Country networks (Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, North- and South Kivu, Zambia and Ethiopia) are participating in a regional event to stimulate innovations and trade between the different regions, with an emphasis on Fruits and Vegetables.

The afternoon sessions of this conference are dedicated to explore approaches to link research to policy and practice. It will include a specific exchange session with the Knowledge Platforms, amongst others by organizing speed dates.

The Brussels info-week is organized to learn more about the new Horizon 2020 work programme 2016/2017 for Societal Challenge 2: food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, maritime and martime inland water research and bio-economy.
