The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes a workshop by Mr Hans Docter, Ambassador for Private Sector Engagement, on the lessons learned in working with and through the private sector in development cooperation (by invitation only). It is a follow-up of the Partnership Day organized in the framework of the OECD-DAC private  sector development peer learning exercise which has been ongoing for a year. 

From November 2015 OECD-DAC has reviewed four countries. The workshop will draw on the four country report on the results of the peer learning exercise which will be published by the OECD-DAC shortly after the event. The Netherlands is committed to bring the PSD agenda further as a centrepiece of its aid, trade and investment policy.

The workshop will bring together a broad range of stakeholders, including representatives from the government, the private sector, civil society organizations, knowledge institutions and potential financiers.
