On Thursday July 5, 2018, NLandscape and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) are co-hosting a knowledge event on Water & Landscapes. On this full day, out in the beautiful landscape of the Biesbosch and the Noordwaard, partners from both the water and the landscape sector have the opportunity to connect and learn.

Aim of the day

The role of water in landscapes is crucial, just as water is part of a wider landscape. In order to emphasize this connection, the Platform NLandscape and NWP have joined forces to host an inspiring day for forward thinkers in both the landscape and water sector to connect. To inspire new opportunities for collaboration, (inter)national cases will be presented that show how water and landscapes are integrated and how cooperation between partners in both sectors can lead to fruitful results in international cooperation. The formation of new partnerships and closer collaboration are in line with the (inter)national policies towards integrated approaches as formulated in SDG’s or the new Dutch policy for International Cooperation. Of course, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the landscape during a walk, get to know each other and explore new opportunities for collaboration!
