This conference aims to promote efficient agricultural management for food safety and security and using sustainable energy for various farm activities. The theme of the conference is carefully selected to serve the interests of both the government and public sectors. It is timely to hold this conference in Malaysia, and in the Universiti Putra Malaysia in particular, since there is a focus now and in the future on using sustainable agriculture and renewable energy. In the past, this conference were held six times, twice in Germany and ones in Denmark, China, Canada and Japan.
