Every year, the Future Policy Award of the World Future Council celebrates policies on a specific topic that create better living conditions for current and future generations.  This year the World Future Council selected to promote policies promoting agroecological approaches.

The World Future Council, in partnership with FAO, through an international expert jury, shortlisted eight legal frameworks and policies from Brazil, Denmark, Ecuador, India, The Philippines and Senegal which support the scaling-up of agroecological approaches.

The Award ceremony will take place on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 18:00-19:00 in the Sheikh Zayed Centre at FAO headquarters, followed by a reception. Online registration at www.worldfuturecouncil.org/future-policy-award or at www.fao.org/agroecology
