Food Valley NL has changed the format of Food Valley Expo. The expanded two-day program now offers even more opportunities for networking, exchanging knowledge and discovering business partners. This year’s Food Valley Expo will be held at Wageningen Campus on October 12-13, 2015.
Every year, Food Valley NL organizes Food Valley Expo, an event where innovative agro-food businesses, knowledge institutes and government institutions meet to network and gain inspiration.
This year, Food Valley Expo will be expanded into a two-day event ‘Global challenges. Smart solutions’:
- Monday October 12: focus on ‘Science to Business’, with scientists bringing attendants up to date on the latest developments in agro-food research.
- Tuesday October 13: networking and business presentation. There will be ample opportunity for innovative businesses to present themselves at the exhibition and in workshops.
Food Valley NL’s managing director Roger van Hoesel is excited about the new format. “Food Valley Expo’s new venue, on Wageningen Campus, will make this event even more attractive to national and international visitors,” says Van Hoesel. “It creates even more time and opportunity for the exchange of knowledge between science and business, while visitors will also have a chance to see the excellent facilities at Wageningen University and Research Centre. It’s a unique opportunity for anyone involved in innovation in the agro-food, feed and horticultural industries.”
Food Valley Expo is also the highly-anticipated moment when Food Valley NL awards its annual innovation prize, the Food Valley Award, to the most distinguished, innovative and economically feasible innovation in the agro-food, feed and horticultural industries. The deadline for entries for this year’s Food Valley Award is May 31, 2015.
Food Valley Expo 2015 is the 11th edition. In previous years, Food Valley Expo was held at Papendal Conference Center in Arnhem. The Expo attracted approximately 800 national and international visitors in 2014.
