The second annual EAT Stockholm Food Forum will welcome representatives from the global community of stakeholders in food, health and sustainability. Over two days, the delegates will discuss the food roadmap to 2050, including specific goals and guidelines.
In an informal atmosphere the forum will offer a mix of keynotes, EAT Talks, panel discussions and workshops featuring the brightest minds from the fields of science, politics, business and civil society. But more than that, it will offer a truly unique arena for interdisciplinary dialogue and action.
Supporting existing forums on nutrition, on health and on environmental sustainability – this unique global forum incorporates all three fields across major sectors. The EAT Stockholm Food Forum is an arena where science, politics and business can share insight and ideas to achieve our common goal of sustainably feeding a healthy world population.
EAT spearheads an holistic approach to today’s food related challenges. Population growth, climate change, human health, resource management, sustainability and food security are independent fields of science and research but they are also important political issues and exciting business opportunities. Through an informal forum, which encourages dialogue and discourse, EAT brings together leading scientists, policymakers and business professionals to catalyze innovation, cross-fertilization, translation and implementation.
