CGIAR organises an online Side Event “The Future of Research for Development” at the World Food Prize Dialogue on October 12, 2020 at 07:45 CDT (14:45 Dutch time). This event introduces and invites feedback on the CGIAR 2030 Research Strategy and partnership opportunities in the transition to One CGIAR.
In this event, participants will:
  • Gain a better understanding of One CGIAR and the opportunities for renewed partnerships that it provides, based on shared visions and common agendas for food security and nutrition; and
  • Influence the type of research that CGIAR will do as it develops its new research portfolio to address the emerging challenges in food, land and water systems.

About the World Food Prize Borlaug Dialogue

The 2020 International Borlaug Dialogue (October 12-16), will be offered in a week of half-day sessions in a virtual setting. The theme is “Breaking New Ground – Building Resilience Today for Improved Global Food Systems Tomorrow”.  Through a series of live and on-demand components, registrants will hear from leaders and champions, take deep dives into key interdisciplinary topics, and interact with new and familiar partners and colleagues.
