The seventh International Forum on Food and Nutrition of the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition is the annual opportunity to analyse and debate global questions relating to food, which has a strong impact on people’s lives and the health of the Planet. The plenary sessions and the workshops invite participants to reflect on urgent issues such as access to food, the moderate use of resources, obesity and food waste.
The Forum is open to the public and involves researchers and renowned personalities from around the globe, creating aninterdisciplinary discussion with civil society, institutions and the media.
Hundreds of the most qualified international experts and opinion makers and thousands of people have taken part in the Forum, an opportunity to debate the state-of-the-art of nutritional, social, cultural and economic research.
With its myriad of initiatives, the International Forum is an important event that aims to define a new agro-food model and guarantee a future where food is accessible to everyone and is sustainable for the Planet.
The next International Forum will be held in Bocconi University inMilan from the 30th November to the 1st December 2016.
