F&BKP Office team
The Office facilitates the knowledge management of the Platform, undertakes its own activities and renders account to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its results and matters relating to financial administration.
The independent Office is staffed by a team of knowledge brokers and support staff from AgriProFocus, The Broker and the Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation. The team members are working part-time for the Platform as well as for their own organization. In this way, the knowledge, experience and networks of the three host organizations are available for the Office.
Frans Verberne is leading the Office which facilitates the Food & Business Knowledge Platform.
Frans graduated from Wageningen UR and has been working for nearly 30 years on sustainable development in different sectors such as rural development and agriculture.Read more »

Vanessa Nigten is a dedicated result-oriented global sustainable inclusive development knowledge specialist.
Vanessa gained her theoretical and practical experience at The Broker, and at organizations like WRR, Partos, NCDO and the JongOS; she has a background in Sociology and Public Administration.Read more »
Rojan Bolling is dedicated to making knowledge work for improved policy and practice. He focuses on the relationship between food security and stability, food systems and sustainably feeding an urbanizing world.
Rojan holds a degree in social and cultural anthropology from VU Amsterdam, with an MSc specializing in human security.Read more »
Judith Jacobs is an agribusiness sector development and farmer/cooperative entrepreneurship specialist with a broad interest in food and nutrition security.
Judith holds an MSc. in Strategic Management with a focus on inclusive business and entrepreneurship and an MSc. in International Relations. She worked in Malawi for almost two years.Read more »
Jocelyne Commandeur is a highly organized and dedicated talent coordinator who is responsible for the “Next Generation”.
