BoP Innovation Center (BoPInc)
BoPInc and the F&BKP
The F&BKP works closely together with the BoP Innovation Center (BoPInc) on the Inclusive Business theme. Together with its strategic partners, BoPInc has created the BoPInc Alliance, representing a worldwide network in a broad variety of industries and organization types, including private sector platform organizations, investors, governments, NGOs and knowledge institutes. BoPInc has received KMF funding for various projects:
- The F&BKP and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) in Bangladesh commissioned the BoPInc to conduct the study “The impact of food standards on inclusive growth in agriculture: the case of Bangladesh” including an extensive literature review and field research in Bangladesh.
- BoPInc is involved in the development of an ongoing online course “Introduction to Inclusive Business” through the Inclusive Business Accelerator consortium.
- Together with Crosswise Works, BoPInc has organized the Food Connection Challenge.
- BoP Inc created a company capability assessment track for Dutch agribusinesses to succeed in developing markets, in collaboration with the F&BKP and CDI / PPPLab.
About BoPInc
BoPInc facilitates impactful entrepreneurship in BoP markets. BoPInc’s main target groups are Dutch and local businesses that want to explore inclusive business and institutional donors seeking for inclusive business opportunities. BoPInc supports its customers in realizing sustainable financial and social return on investment. BoPInc has built up a position on food security within the Dutch and international context. Currently BoPInc is involved in various inclusive business initiatives that strengthen the position of smallholder farmers in their own food system.
