Specialization in Assessing Impact of Development Programmes on Food Security
Wednesday October 14, 2015
All day event
This 4 month online joint UOC-FAO specialization provides a comprehensive understanding and guidance for assessing the impact of development programmes on food security. Specifically, students review food security impact assessment in the context of development programmes; methods and approaches for assessing impact; and, interpreting and communicating impact assessment results. This specialization brings together the latest information on impact assessment from numerous guidelines and presents it within the context of development programmes that address food insecurity.
The focus is on large scale programmes but the methods and approaches are equally applicable to smaller food security projects. Students will be challenged with regular assignments and activities and will be supported by teachers with extensive experience.
