The Agriculture-Nutrition Community of Practice (Ag2Nut) is initiating a call with the following topic: “Nutrition Indicators in Agriculture: Key indicators and resources for supporting evidence-based decision making in nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food systems”.
Appropriate indicators for measuring nutrition impacts in agriculture is a topic that has received much discussion, both in the Ag2Nut community, and generally in the field. The call will feature several recent publications supported by FAO.
Two publications on this topic are just being released this month. Several other 2016 publications deal with specific areas of measurement and support the overall conversation on nutrition indicators in agriculture. Authors of these documents will be on the call to introduce them to the CoP:
