The Netherlands African Business Council (NABC) organizes a trade mission to Ghana from September 7 to September 11, open to all companies directly or indirectly active in the fruit & vegetables-sector, including seeds, processing, agri-supplies and trade.

The fruit & vegetable market in Ghana is a huge business opportunity for Dutch investors, as its growing middle-class (which currently comprises almost 50% of the population) demands high quality fresh food- specifically fresh and processed fruits & vegetables. This demand is not yet met with adequate local supply. Next to promising opportunities for the local market, the Ghanaian vegetable market has lots of potential for export.

This mission is organized as a part of the GhanaVeg program. This project aims for further professionalization of the value chain for vegetable production and consumption in Ghana by means of expertise of and investment by the Dutch private sector. The GhanaVeg program comprises a long-term project in which Dutch private sector companies are provided with relevant local contents, funding-possiblities (up to 50.000 euro) and support by local experts.

This mission will give your company the opportunity to explore its business opportunities in the Ghanaian vegetable sector in a supportive environment, and will provide your company with useful contact by means of company visits and B2B matchmaking sessions.
