The ARC incorporates HD PTZ cameras and AR technology to achieve the seamless integration of reality and virtual tags with information, in the form of text, icons, videos, tables or super-links, which support live interactive operations, to improve perception and cognition towards the environment by creating a video map.
Main Functions of ARC
Positioning and Timing
The ARC obtains its geographical coordinates (i.e., longitude, latitude and altitude), synchronizes time with satellites and perceives its orientation and pose in real time.
Live Location Computation of Target Objects
The ARC supports adding of static and dynamic tags on the video map which correspond to static and GPS-enabled mobile objects respectively. Furthermore, it is able to ensure the tags are displayed at their accurate positions when the ARC is rotating and zooming.
Tag Searching and Locating
The ARC supports tag searching by either keyword or tag attributes. It will pan to focus onto the search result and zoom to the best view.
Multi-layered Tags Display
Tags are separated into tiers. As the zoom level changes, tags are displayed or hidden according to their tiers
Customization of Tag Attributes
Tag attributes can be customized (e.g., adding videos, images, texts, etc.).
Video Linkage
The feeds of other CCTV cameras and mobile devices can be opened and displayed at their precise locations on the ARC鈥檚 video map, at the same time, interact with the ARC.IP Camera suppliers
