The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is organizing this 10-day Training of Trainers course in partnership with CSIR-Crops Research Institute (CRI) and the International Potato Center (CIP).

The GIM International Summit in Amsterdam will draw leaders and key decision-makers from the global geomatics sector participating in workshops organized around different themes, including Social Justice, Integration for Geo-IT, Climate Change, Urban Planning, Property Rights, and Food Security and Agriculture.

The focus of this joint symposium under the theme "Integrated Rural Development: Strengthening Women and Youth Empowerment through Jobs and Entrepreneurship" is how developing countries cooperate and collaborate amongst each other for development goals – also known as South-South Cooperation (SSC).
