During the month of October 2015, the Livestock Production Systems Branch of Animal Production and Health Division, FAO will host, as part of the “Save Food” initiative, an e-conference on "Utilization of Food Loss and Waste as well as Non-Food Parts as Livestock Feed".

The theme of the event “is Reinvigorating Extension Services for Market-led Agriculture within the Context of the Malabo Declaration”. The event is expected to bring together agricultural extension and advisory services practitioners and other agricultural value chain actors across and outside Africa.

This 4 month online joint UOC-FAO specialization provides a comprehensive understanding and guidance for assessing the impact of development programmes on food security. Specifically, students review food security impact assessment in the context of development programmes.

High Level Conference and Workshop organized by the European Commission, in partnership with African Union Commission, the ACP Secretariat, the PAFO, the European Investment Bank, the COLEACP and the CTA, in the context of Expo Milano 2015.
