The only independent and comprehensive annual review of the state of the world’s nutrition, the Global Nutrition Report is a multipartner initiative that holds a mirror up to our successes and failures at meeting intergovernmental nutrition targets. It documents progress on commitments made on the global stage, and it recommends actions to accelerate that progress. »

The strategic partnership between the CGIAR and the Netherlands is taking shape. On June 2, 2016 a stock meeting was organized to discuss the progress with the development of the NL-CGIAR Portfolio. There are six new Young Expert Programmes (YEP) positions available, of which five in YEP Agrofood. Main goal of the YEP Programmes, is to offer young Dutch and local professionals the opportunity to take their first steps in an international environment. On June 9, the Dutch Ministry of FA hosted a presentation about the scoping study, “Flowers for Food?” conducted by LANDac)/IDS Utrecht University and the Platform. Around 30 participants attended the presentation, mostly representatives from different government agencies, and a number of experts from academia, NGOs and certification bodies. »
