Beginning 2020, a workshop was organized in the framework of the Global Challenges Programme project HortEco, entitled “Normative, technical and organizational aspects favoring the diffusion of organic agriculture in Valparaíso region, Chile”. »

This booklet provides the overall results of the HortIMPACT project and gives special attention to the lessons learnt during the implementation. Despite HortIMPACT’s impact, there is still need for greater systemic change in enhancing food safety and market access while reducing food losses, with climate change and limited water availability continuing to challenge food security.  »

The opportunities for the Dutch agri-food sector to cooperate with partners in Africa, Asia, and North and Central America have been explored in 16 Seed Money Projects (SMPs), financially supported by the Dutch Topsectors Agri & Food and Horticulture & Starting Materials. The results of these projects, carried out in 2019, were presented in a public meeting mid-December 2019. »

Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation (WCDI), F&BKP consortium partner, works on processes of innovation and change through facilitating innovation, brokering knowledge and supporting capacity development. In the week of September 23, WCDI starts a campaign, supporting its slogan “Turning knowledge on food systems into action”. »
