On April 27 and 28, 2017, a first multi-stakeholder Learning Platform on Land Governance and Food Security was organized in Ifakara, Tanzania. The Learning Platform creates space for dialogue and learning around land-based investments in agriculture and forestry in the Kilombero Valley in Tanzania. »

NWO-WOTRO and the F&BKP organized a training for research projects of the Global Challenges Programme. The training focused on stakeholder engagement: how do you engage the wider circle of stakeholders in your research? A report of the training which took place on March 30, 2017, is now available online. »

The F&BKP has published its highlights of 2016. This third year was marked by several important achievements: interaction and dynamics within the Platform intensified; the requests for support to knowledge trajectories increased; more traffic was visible on the website; and approximately 60 research consortia are now up and running. »

The five GCP-1 projects came together for their midterm workshop in Accra, Ghana. The workshop also included a public meeting on “Inclusive Food Value Chains”. The detailed report of the three-day workshop is now available online. »
