Another important asset of the GPEDC is its network of more than 30 Global Partnership Initiatives (GPIs) that organize concrete actions for better development cooperation worldwide. \nYouth and The Road to Nairobi\nYouth and women empowerment has been selected by Kenya as thematic priority to be further discussed in Plenary Session 4 of the HLM. on December 1\, 2016 at 10:30.\nThis session will focus on economically empowering women and youth. In preparation to the plenary session\, which will be attended by many high-level development shapers\, a Youth Forum will identify key issues. In addition\, all parties have been requested to include a youth representative in their respective delegations to the HLM. This ultimately offers young people from all over the world the opportunity to raise their voice on development issues that matter for them. \nVia several side-events\, many inspiring and innovative initiatives will be showcased\, including The Road to Nairobi 2016. Selected youth entrepreneurs will be invited to share their experiences with this project and show how they took leadership by co-creating solutions and actions to promote youth employment in their countries. \n
