DESCRIPTION:From November 20 till 25\, 2016 the International Symposia on Tropical and Temperature Horticulture 2016 (ISTTH) are taking place at the Cairns Convention Centre in tropical North Queensland\, Australia. One of the events is the first International Symposium on Poverty\, Hidden Hunger and Horticulture. \nDuring the symposium\, the potential benefits as well as the factors limiting the development of more sustainable horticultural enterprises in the low-income countries will be discussed. \nPapers presenting evidence-based research results that demonstrate the potential of horticulture to contribute to sustainable development as well as to find solutions to overcome the various constraints\, can be submitted till February 19\, 2016.
