SUMMARY:World Dairy Summit "Dare to Dairy"
DESCRIPTION:The Netherlands National Committee of IDF is proud to organize the IDF World Dairy Summit 2016 in De Doelen in Rotterdam ” Dare to Dairy”. For decades the Dutch dairy sector has been in the forefront of developments in the global dairy sector. The entrepreneurship\, innovation and international orientation that underpin the competitive position of the Dutch dairy sector will undoubtedly attract many visitors from all over the world to the IDF World Dairy Summit 2016. \nThe major challenge for the global dairy sector is how to help nourish a growing population in a sustainable way. IDF is convinced that dairy will be an important source of safe and sustainable nutrition in the years to come. In the Netherlands we are well aware that dairy can only play this role in close collaboration with the global community\, including both governmental and non-governmental organizations. \nThere is no doubt that differences of opinion on the role of dairy in nutrition and sustainability\, do exist. Centuries of close collaboration and interdependence to reclaim and defend our country from the sea have deeply embedded engagement and dialogue between opposing views in the Dutch culture. \nThrough the IDF World Dairy Summit 2016 IDF aims to make a difference by facilitating dialogue with stakeholders of the global dairy sector\, including views from outside\, on how dairy can sustainably contribute to feeding 9 billion people. \nThere is a lot at stake for dairy and the world and the question is: \n\nDo we dare to… engage\nDo we dare to… share\nDo we dare to… innovate\nDo we dare to… challenge\nDo we dare to… dream\nDo we… Dare to Dairy?\n\nYou are invited to Dare to Dairy! \n
