DESCRIPTION:The Genomics in Business Conference is an international conference (19 countries from 4 continents) for executive management\, entrepreneurs\, start-ups\, leading scientists and financial experts from the agro and biotech industry. During the 2015 conference new business models\, new partnerships and commercial applications in the field of genomics\, traits and seeds will be discussed.  \nProgramme\nThe three-day programme will start with a opening dinner starting on Sunday afternoon. Three speakers from the international agricultural and industrial biotech industry will highlight the developments and trends about Big Data & Value\, Developments & trends by the producers & trading organisations and Consumer marketing: value creation\, sustainability and organics. \nSunday April 19 at 17.00 hours\, prof.dr. Arjen van Tunen\, CEO Keygene N.V. will welcome all participants and kick-off the Genomics in Business 2015 conference. \nOn conference days 2 and 3 (Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 April) the following topics will be addressed: \n\nBig Data & Value: developments\, opportunities and partnerships in the breeding\, crop protection and seed technology industry\nDevelopments & trends by the producers and trading organisations\nConsumer marketing: value creation\, sustainability and organics\nInput & consumer traits: sustainability & traits\nTechnologies & Agribusiness: game-changing biotech technologies challenging Agribusiness Product Development\nProduct Development and Value creation outside the seed industry: trends and challenges\n\nDuring the conference young-\, promising- and start-up companies will pitch their business. Furthermore\, two separate sessions on intellectual property and regulatory developments will be programmed.
