HAS University of Applied Sciences has two vacancies, Lecturer Crop Production Systems and Lecturer International Agri-food Marketing. Location is ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, the appointment is for 0.8 fte, initially for one year, leading to a permanent appointment following a positive appraisal. HAS University of Applied Sciences is currently looking for two lecturers for their International Food & Agribusiness (IFA) programme. This study programme trains students for positions within international agri-food chains with emphasis on increasing sustainability and being able to contribute to its sustainability is the core competence of our graduates. HAS offers diverse, dynamic and independent positions, with considerable opportunities for personal growth in a small and informal team, in which team work is highly appreciated. Native speakers of English are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Lecturer Crop Production Systems will develop and teach courses, making use of innovative training methods and modern facilities. Principally as part of the IFA study programme, but possibly also participating in the other related degree programmes. In addition, the lecturer will provide consultancy expertise in the development of sustainable crop supply chains in the areas of both food production and agribusiness.

The Lecturer International Agri-food Marketing will give lectures, providing problem-based and project-based education in Marketing; predominantly in English; support students during their internationally oriented internships and graduation projects in close collaboration with the industry; coach students; execute projects together with the business field in the international agri-food sector; help to build an international network and translate current developments in the work field in the curriculum; coordinate and improve quality of education in collaboration with team members; and contribute to the further development of the IFA business curriculum and teaching program, which is based on an interdisciplinary approach and in an international classroom.
