Launch new call for proposals Urbanising Deltas of the World
Urbanising Deltas of the World (UDW) is an NWO research and innovation programme that aims to contribute to global water safety, food security and sustainable economic development in river deltas worldwide, by providing more effective and efficient responses to urbanization and climate change. UDW has launched a new call for proposals (€3M), which aims to fund projects that address business challenges in deltas in developing countries.
UDW invites interested parties to apply for preliminary proposals, which can be submitted until March 16, 2015. Please note that it is not mandatory to have submitted an Expression of Interest.
Also a short report on the UDW roadshows has been published. The roadshows in which more than 100 people participated, were organized in November 2014 with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The report explains how the suggestions that were put forward have been accommodated in the call.
